I appreciate your forbearance. It was silly of me to ask really. But thank you very much for the info! I will test just for fun.

@E: Sorry, tb3 pre-releases aren't supported, only the latest alpha/beta. The basic problem is that if the addon got updated to suit today's pre-release it would break all the earlier tb3 pre-releases. So folk who hadn't updated their thunderbird to the very latest tb3 pre-release would assume a bug in the addon.

If you really want to experiment with it on a pre-release there are two tweaks:
* unzip the .xpi and edit install.rdf changing <em:maxVersion> from 3.0b1 to 3.0b2 (for example) then zip it up again, and
* tweak a preference as described under the "thunderbird 3" text at the <a href="http://www.zindus.com/faq-thunderbird/#toc-roadmap" rel="nofollow">roadmap</a>

For a one-off sync that might work ok as of today (untested). But be warned: since the addressbook API is under active development, the odds that addon will break between now and the next beta are good!

Leni,

Any chance of a quick code update to account for TBird 3.0b2pre? When I try to use Zindus with b2pre it says not compatible.
